No need to come to a building or classroom - I don't have one!  I come to you so we can teach behaviors where they need to work, making our dog training sessions more effective. I'm happy to meet you at your home, a local pet store, park, or another area where we can work on the skills your pet needs. From sits and downs to recalls, desensitization, and classical counterconditioning for fear-inducing stimuli, or dogs who don't want to be home alone, you have training and behavior options! 

• The initial intake appointment for dog training is $125 for a 60-75 minute session.
•  Follow-up appointments are $100 per hour. 
• Travel under 30 minutes is included, while travel over 30 minutes incurs a fee of $50. 
• For travel exceeding 30 minutes, the charge increases by $25 for every 15 minutes (for example, 60 minutes of travel will cost $100). 
• Homes with multiple pets will receive a specific quote based on the number and species.

Yes, I will see dogs exhibiting aggressive behavior. However, we will start with a 30-minute virtual appointment to create a safety plan for the in-home appointment and to allow me to assess the severity of the situation. After 16 years of addressing these cases, I understand the level of anxiety and stress you may be feeling as a dog owner. My goal is to set you and your dog up for successful training and behavior modification sessions by creating a safety plan and taking time to answer your questions before we meet in person. 

If needed, please know that we may discuss involving your veterinarian in your pet's behavior plan, especially if you're dealing with aggression, fear, anxiety, or separation concerns. There can be a medical cause for your pet's behavior, or your pet may benefit from additional help, such as medications, to cope with situations or life. As a RVT, I cannot diagnose or prescribe, but I am happy to assist you in starting these conversations with your veterinary team.

Puppy socialization is critical for your puppy's development and should occur between 6-16 weeks of age. This is the golden window for preparing your puppy for the life you will lead together over the next 10-14 years or more! We can create a socialization plan focused on dog training, discuss dog-friendly places to visit, and explore activities you can enjoy together for life.
